Rules, conditions and exceptions
Securities regulation is defined by its boundaries: what applies, to whom, under what conditions, with what exceptions. Knowing a rule roughly is close to worthless when the exam tests where it stops.
That makes condition-based and negation-based questions the productive ones here, and they are the pattern roughly 30% of generated items are deliberately built on.
One caveat this page will not skip: regulatory content changes, and a question generated from last year's notes can be confidently wrong. Generate from current study material, and treat FINRA's published content outline as the reference for what is examinable.
The practical consequence is that saved sets have a shelf life here that they do not have in, say, anatomy. Regenerate from updated study material at the start of each study block rather than reusing sets built months ago, and treat any item that surprises you as a prompt to check the current rule rather than to memorise the answer.

No. They are generated from material you upload. FINRA exam content is confidential and is not reproduced.
Is the regulatory content kept up to date?
The questions reflect the material you upload and nothing else. If your notes are out of date, the questions will be too — which is why generating from current study material matters here more than in most subjects.
Can I use this for other securities exams?
Yes. The workflow is identical for any exam where you have your own study material.
Should I generate multiple-choice or true/false for rules?
Both, in one set. True/false is sharper on whether you know a rule's boundary; multiple choice is closer to the exam's own format. Mixing them tests the boundary and rehearses the format at the same time.
